    Description

In this age when everything is connected in an instant, we can get what we want at a moment's notice, we often lose sight of the value of our own existence in the midst of our daily lives. In this age of instantaneous connectivity, we are rushed and swept along without a moment's rest, and often lose sight of the value of our own existence in our daily lives. I am no exception. I want to stop, face myself, turn my attention inward, and find the strong light that lies ahead when I dig deeper. I reflect these thoughts in my work. I use abstraction to release the suppressed spirit of the unconscious, and at the same time, I plot mental landscapes in black based on minimalism. From there, he turns his attention inward and, as if delving into himself, uses a new technique of repeatedly scraping off the black to reveal the white. This is a departure from writing in pictorial expression. Unlike the white of paper, this white is more than a white that is the result of a composition that reflects my aesthetic sense (the coexistence of two opposing sides, such as slow and fast, straight and curved lines); it is the true nature of the strong light I pursue.

    Concept

He creates works of art by sincerely dealing with the context of art history and making use of his own background and originally developed ink. He focuses on invisible existence, such as the significance of individual existence in modern society and natural phenomena represented by wind, and symbolizes and visualizes them with pictorial expressions. He also reflects his own aesthetic sense of "coexistence of opposing dualities" in his works, and sublimates the coexistence of dichotomous phenomena such as "black and white," "artificial beauty and natural beauty," and "painting and cutting" in his techniques into a single work of art.
