    Description

    This work is a Japanese painting done with traditional Japanese materials, iwa-enogu (mineral pigments) and suiboshi egues, on a Japanese paper called unhada-maji (cloud skin linen paper).
    I saw a man paragliding in the sky over the Sea of Enshu, where I usually go for a drive with my father. Paragliders are not surrounded by walls like airplanes, but ride the autumn wind in the sky. I wonder what kind of air the flyer feels in the sky. I painted this picture with such thoughts in my mind.
    I used the bright blue of the mineral pigments to create a clear feeling of the sky, and the white fine-grained paint to create a sense of atmosphere.
    I am looking forward to seeing what kind of atmosphere the viewer will feel.

    I paint Japanese paintings with mineral pigments on Japanese paper and acrylics. Until 2022, I worked on the theme of fusion of Japan and foreign countries, painting foreign countries that I admire with Japanese materials. Since 2023, I have been painting with acrylics and watercolors on the theme of just what I want to paint and how I feel about myself.

    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
