About the work
（When Mizuhodori paints, she starts without deciding on anything specific. I try to stop thinking and savor the sensation of the moment when I paint. After the painting is completed, I try to put what I feel from the painting in writing as an aspect of the work.)
A being that is green, vibrant, and full of life.
The work was created in the fall of 2020, a time when a number of dizzying changes occurred in Mizuhodori's life from late 2019 to around 2020.
In retrospect, all of the events were nothing but changes for the better, but in the midst of these changes, he was full of adjustment, both physically and mentally.
Even in those times (or rather, precisely because of those times), I really enjoyed painting, and once I started painting, my cluttered mind became nothing, and I felt a sense of comfort and satisfaction.
Anyway, bright yellow-green came to my mind, and with the urge to put it on canvas as much as I could, I started to paint, and this is the one that came out.
I felt as if she was asking me to put her work on display at an exhibition.
I was feeling a bit down because of the dizzying changes and the short daylight hours, but this painting, full of fresh plants and sun-like energy of spring and early summer, really saved my life.
Often I unconsciously draw without knowing what I will end up with, and then I get power from the finished product. Everyone has their own filter, so there may be some differences, but I think people who see this painting will be energized by it.
In fact, yellow-green was a color that I had not used much before this work.
I realized later that as my life changed rapidly, the colors I used in my artwork also changed, and the colors I chose each moment, "Oh, I want to use this color," were often bright and colorful.

They are lively yellow-green beings. They are full of vitality.
They told me wanted to participate in an exhibition and came out on a big canvas.
Before I drew this picture, there was a big change in my life and I had been tired.
Even at such times, drawing was really fun, and once I started drawing, my messy thought disappeared, and I felt comfortable and satisfied.
Anyway, a bright yellow-green color came to my mind, and this was the one who started drawing with the urge to put it on the canvas.
Then, the beings came out on the canvas and I was really healed by them which are full of energy like fresh plants of spring or early summer and the sun.
I just draw comfortably without thinking but, I often get energy from the finished work.
