Concept

Jun is an artist from Kanagawa Prefecture. He mainly uses animals as his motif. The animals he depicts are not mere portraits, but rather, he is conscious of the structure of the animals' skeletons, muscles, skins, and hairs, and paints layers of colors to give the animals' textures. The backgrounds are abstractly expressed by sensing the atmosphere created by the motifs. She faces the canvas every day, aiming to be an artist who can draw a picture that as many people as possible can relate to, a world where nature (i.e., animals) can coexist. Recently, she has been focusing on fantasy and nostalgic works. The animals she draws are based on her own photographs and royalty-free photos.
