This year marks the 1153rd festival. Kyoto has been hit by war and entire towns have disappeared many times. Today, just walking around the town, one can feel 1,000 years of history. In a corner of the town. Or you can feel the history in a meal or in a conversation with people. I try to capture Kyoto with my camera and create a work of art, but I can't fit it all in. So, with the help of paint materials, I began to draw images of Kyoto on Canvas and combined them with photographs to create this work.
