Yasuo Kiyonaga

Advertisement flyers and numbers on the walls of Hanoi, Vietnam have been repeatedly pasted, peeled off, painted and erased, and many people are involved behind the scenes. The artist does not intend to express the patterns and strangeness of the walls, but to express through the walls the activities of the people of Hanoi, the accumulated history of people, their lives, and the flow of time. The method of production was inkjet printing on canvas, and acrylic paint was applied on top.

This group of still life works offers a glimpse of a lovely everyday life surrounded by unique objects. The use of different light brings out the texture of the subjects and the expression of their shadows.

The work is physical and intuitive. Coloring and chemicals were used on the photographs to create unique works of art.
