This painting was borne out of a difficult time in my life where grief was a common experience. It was during those time that the love of the Savior Christ became real to me. I know that in my hardship He joins me and weeps for me, and He does for you too.
This painting is unique in that it appears very minimal at first glance and in pictures like shown here. But in fact, the layers of iridescent silver and gold and white creates an effect where based on your location relative to the painting, you will see a different design/image in the canvas. It remains abstract, but gives a sense of exploration as you notice different shapes and watery lines.
"Tears of the Savior" was created on a 1.5" thick canvas, with the painting continuing around the edges. It arrives in a modern, black floater frame (the one in the pictures).
