    Description

    　I heard that in ancient Egypt, cats were regarded as messengers of the gods. When I saw a picture of an Egyptian cat mummy, I felt an urge to paint it. I wanted to paint it. I had decided to paint only things that are pretty and beautiful when displayed in a room, so choosing this as my subject was a breakthrough for me. A mummy cat alone would have been too grotesque, so I arranged the background to resemble an Egyptian mural and introduced two cute little mice in clothes, giving it a picture book style. I would be happy if you could see even the individual strands of covering that surround the cat in a circle.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
