The Peace Palace
Just outside the centre of The Hague (Den Haag) on the road to Scheveningen at the coast The Peace Palace is situated. It houses the The International Court of Justice of the United Nations. It is an impressive building and I had the privilige of visiting it a couple of times. I went there for business and pleasure quite some times, as a student and later as a lawyer. A little secret is that I even made love there once to my former girfriend in the past. It is one of those few landmarks that is typical for The Hague. At least it certainly ifor me. The city lacks a clear and sound cityscape but perhaps this comes close. After all, The Hague wants to brand itself as a capital of international justice for ages now.

Museum Mesdag
At the Laan van Meerdervoort there is this Museum Mesdag. At the first and second floor in the back you can look straight into the garden. There is this lovely view on The Peace Palace farther away.
