Concept

He creates his works as if to trap sounds, humidity, and sensations in a scene of memory. Inspiration comes from nature, from the trees, the open sky, and the seeds rustling in the wind. Landscape of the Mind Series In this series, I have transformed into images the sounds, smells, or temperatures that surround us, things that are intangible, but are remembered and felt. They evoke in us the memory of something past, but still present. They are recollections that evoke our senses and are the reason this series was created. The mental images evoked by touching our senses, memories, and recollections are the essence of this series.

Biography

Born in Hokkaido. After studying at a design school in Sapporo, worked for an advertising production company in Tokyo. Later, he became independent and established a design office with his partner, where he worked on planning, direction, and design production. Realizing the importance of art, which expresses a different perspective from design, he entered Musashino Art University, where he majored in printmaking. Since graduation, he has been active as an artist, holding solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad.
