I define and reinterpret life in my visual language, to understand and cope with things. Through my works, I search for ironies and paradoxes. I want to explore the hidden principles of society and to express them through a more surrealistic quality in my works. I think that behind every subject I choose there is a narrative, this is why animating and storytelling in the format of a film is another way for me to convey a message. The inspiration that literature and poetry give me is very strong. I want to express the emotion behind a text into a visual language. I think every word illustrates an image with its sound and meaning

Elham Masoumi (b. 1987, Tehran, Iran) received her Diploma in Painting (2004) and her Bachelor of Art in Visual Communication (2010) from the School of Fine Arts and the University of Arts in Tehran.

Elham Masoumi (b. 1987, Tehran, Iran) received her Diploma in Painting (2004) and her Bachelor of Art in Visual Communication (2010) from the School of Fine Arts and the University of Arts in Tehran.

She intensified her knowledge in illustration, animation, and motion design during her Master's degree in Media, Art, and Design at Bauhaus University Weimar (2019). She currently lives and works in Brandenburg, Germany.
