I’m 37 year old artist based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Art has always been a huge part of my life. It was my mom, who introduced me to it’s world as she was a classic painter and worked in an art gallery. I would visit her every weekend and was fascinated with the works of art they had. Needless to say she taught me everything she could for me to become who I am now. After graduating I started working as an English teacher as it was considered to be more realistic job, so I had to put the idea of becoming a full-time artist on a back burner. It all changed when the pandemic started. I couldn’t hold the urge for art inside me any longer, so I started painting. It turned out I’m an abstractionist as I was felt my works were the reflections of my inner self and varied depending on my mood and circumstances. Now I’m making my first but confident steps into the world of art!
