Concept

I like to play with metaphors, tear archetypal images out of their original context and place them in a new, disturbing context. My pictures do not convey a message but represent conditions that I perceive when dealing with people and social processes. In my painting process, I choose the method with which I get to my goal quickly and efficiently. My brushstroke is expressive and still takes my time in the crucial detail. Due to the lack of clear messages, my pictures refuse a rational approach and instead invite the viewer to an emotional identification with individual elements.

Biography

In early childhood I found my way from watercolors to oil painting and felt inspired by the old masters of the Renaissance and Romanticism.

In early childhood I found my way from watercolors to oil painting and felt inspired by the old masters of the Renaissance and Romanticism.
At the age of 12 I intensified painting and especially portrait drawing by taking regular lessons.
From 2015, an apprenticeship with Nik Golder led to an intensive examination of the art of transrealism - an art form that focuses on the human being in its timelessness and of which Nik Golder is one of the founders.
I have been taking part in international art exhibitions and trade fairs regularly since 2016.
Here I like to present my approach by painting live on site.
I am a master student of Nik Golder
In 2019 I was awarded the international "Botticelli Award" in the Borghese Palace in Florence:
A prize with which international artists are honored for their special style and artistic approach.
