De Pelikaan ( The Pelican) “ Peter Kok 1970”

Peter Johannes Kok, born 1970 was a creative child. Always drawing, sketching and making music, in his teens he discovered the colors of street art and graffiti. After his school periode Peter graduated as a painter, it was an easy step into restoring old furniture and giving vintage furniture a new life with all sorts of materials and techniques.
Peter’s creative brain never stopt creating.

The Pelican started developing his own techniques with pyrography (wood burning), painting techniques and epoxy. A couple of months later the first wall-art was a fact. Now The Pelican still creates pieces of art in its own style. Each painting has is own identity and is always one of kind.


What started in the 90s as a hobby gone rogue turned into Studio de Pelikanen.
With his own website, showroom and his work on display in different local galleries.
