Born in 1991, I have made art from a young age. Before I ever dreamed of talent or success I enjoyed the act of putting a pencil or crayon to paper and watching the line spring to life. I moved when I was very young to the beautiful state of Virginia and fell in love with the trees and forests there. My family experienced hardship financially when I was young and this put a strain on the emotions in the house. Despite the difficulty, my mother found a way to enroll me in art classes at the local museum where I was introduced to oil painting and claymation. Throughout my time at school I was always enrolled in an art class and I loved having so much time to create. Once I left school I found myself naked in a world I did not choose to create but must inhabit regardless. I hope my art brings out the beauty already present in the world, which we often overlook, and that it causes people to reexamine the detail and life that is abundant around them.
