I consider my own works as my personal set of symbols or signs which even I can’t always explain myself. Often the viewer makes it for me. This is takes the form of a kind of puzzle games with the viewer. Anything can be inspiration for me: my dream had the night before, a book which I read, a conversation heard by chance in the transport, meeting with a familiar person. All my works created for some time past are like trying to draw something intangible, such concepts as feeling, impression, emotions but by figurative means of expression. One technique fetters me, so I often experiment with materials and surfaces. Recently, I like to work with acrylic and ink on canvas. Since almost all of my works painted in the last few years have not been thought out in advance and have been created straight "out of hand" I combine them into a single large cycle "Subconscious pictures".
That's all you can do with the surface of paper or canvas.
