Concept

Simple direct moments fixed in graphic art. The plants on the windowsill are not just a still life, but a story about the artist's environment. Symbols of everyday life and frozen shots that at first glance do not betray any emotions or feelings, and say little about the situation, but still represent one of the most emotional minutes. The drawings were done mainly with a marker on paper in a style similar to engraving. Some of the works are a combination of hand-drawn graphics and an addition in graphic editors, presented as a print on canvas in a limited series or a single copy.

Biography

Mariia was born in Dnipro, Ukraine in 1996.

Graduated Dnipro Art College (2015), and National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture (2021). She studied monumental and sacred art, part of her artwork was made in egg yolk tempera.
Due to the war in Ukraine, she had to move to Poland in 2022. Curre...
