Born in Tokyo, she started using a camera at the age of 10, and at the age of 14, she built a darkroom and began working in it. She became seriously absorbed in photography and entered Joshibi University of Art and Design Senior High School. While studying painting and design, she always spent time with her camera. Later, she studied classical techniques and special techniques at the Department of Photography, Nihon University College of Art. In 2009, he began working as a freelance photographer, and in 2011, he opened a photo studio, Yamato Studio, in Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. In 2013, he moved his studio to Kichijoji, Tokyo. In 2015, he opened ATELIER YAMATO in Tsukiji. She has been actively shooting portraits, fashion, music, and other genres. In fashion and beauty, he mainly shoots ethical and sustainable brands. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather, a veterinarian, she has been volunteering as a photographer for animal welfare for 7 years and continues to take animal portraits.
