Concept

Endless array of feelings of forms creates unique possibilities for interpretations, within the context of your reflection and finding meanings, where the main objective in my case as a sculptor is to find my measure of the convention. Working on a new sculpture is always based on a personal story. When you dive into the material, and into that unique sense of form –Plastic “mistakes” reveal hidden figures. Distortion of proportions and anatomy is an organic plastic technique that allows me to take the image in the right direction, where, according to G. Moore, one of the essential tasks and the ultimate goals is a tense of life by itself, regardless of the subject.

Biography

Member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg IFA, section sculpture, graphics.
Was born in Lermontov, Stavropol, in 1973.

Between 1991-1996 learned at the “CFS” in Stavropol
at the department “Graphic design in the architectural and spatial environment”.
1996-2000 participant in collective exhibitions
of painting and photography in Stavropol.
1998 - personal exhibition of painting and photography in Kislovodsk (central exhibition hall).
1997-2002 personal exhibitions of painting and photography in Essentuki (central city museum).
2007 personal exhibition "Plastic caves", painting and graphics in the gallery "Borey", St. Petersburg.
2008 personal exhibition "Lines and Points", painting and graphics in the gallery "Borey", St. Petersburg.
2009 collective exhibition of painting in the art gallery "MArt", St. Petersburg.
2011 collective exhibition of paintings in the gallery of the National Center "Finno-Ugric peoples", St. Petersburg.
2021 Exhibition of sculpture and graphics in the gallery "Palazzo", St. Petersburg.
2021 collective exhibition of sculpture and graphics in the St. Petersburg Creative Union "IFA", exhibition "Space".

The artist’s works are in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art “XXI Century” in Moscow and private collections in Russia, Israel, Germany, France.
