I'm an Irish artist from the southwest of Ireland . I started painting after taking instruction from other Irish artist whose work i admired and quickly developed my own style mainly impressionist abstract paintings and found myself exploring more abstract ways to paint. I have always lived in the countryside and flowers and hedgerows are an integral part of that. Painting flowers allows me to interpret natural beauty creatively and it's a good subject to explore abstract and impressionist styles in an intuitive way. Also i love flower paintings in a kitchen because i think it brings the outside in. I paint in oils and really enjoy creating something new and hope you enjoy looking around my work
