This series has to do with the color red. It is liquid art with acrylics and I wanted to add black and gold to the red so that the paintings would be in an oriental theme. The paintings are finished with a final varnish and look very glossy.

The series of paintings "Luminaries" is a unique combination of female faces of the Renaissance and celestial luminaries. As if carried through time, the paintings recreate the atmosphere of antiquity and mystery.
