Greetings, my name is Minoli Ananda and I am from Sri Lanka. When it comes to Sri Lankan traditional cultural arts, what I do is turn wonder into something new. Literature, my country's history, popular culture, and my spirituality all have an impact on my paintings. Take a look at some of the acrylic and watercolor paintings I've done in the past. For my arts, I want to draw inspiration from Kandiyan era frescoes and create unique pieces. Traditional Kandyan paintings from the 18th century are my favorite type of art to imitate. Acrylic and watercolors are usually my go-to mediums when I paint. Lacquer can also be used to achieve the same results. Since I started painting regularly, I've taken part in a few exhibitions, and I hope to have my own soon.

I'm Minoli Ananda from Sri Lanka. Drawing has been my fashion since I was a little girl. So I chose and followed art as a subject during my school time. Lately, I became interested in tourism and chose it to be my career. Therefore, I followed a HND in Tourism and Hospitality Management at ATI. Then I joined a domestic tour company as a tour executive. Even though I was into tourism, I have been studying art continuously at a fine arts academy under a professional artist. Since then, I have improved my skills, my strength, and I have also become an artist who has worked in the region.

I really like to adopt the style of the traditional Kandyan paintings that belong to the 18th century. Mostly, I do my paintings by acralic ,mixing acrylic and water colors. also done with lacquer. I have participated in a few exhibitions since I actively started painting and am planning to do my own exhibition in the near future.
