I realize idyllic tropical landscapes, carriers of dreams. Plants, landscapes, travels, I am inspired by all of this to transcribe my desire to escape. Following a graphic visual concept, I approach the theme of exoticism through portraits and panoramas. Self-taught, I always try my hand at new performances. After starting the drawing, I started to perfect the acrylic and the black micro point which are my two main mediums. I paint with great finesse, playing on details and contrasts. I try to catch the eye of the spectator, that he approach it to see the smallest details.

Amélie NOEL is a textile designer and artist from rural Charente Maritime, near Bordeaux. Her acute taste for drawing and painting expressed itself from such a young age as to be innate. Creativity sensitive to representations of an idyllic naive world.

Her self taught painting took on another quality three years ago. Amélie pursued art studies and completed a graphic design BTS. Her studies have shown her an artistic path worth pursuing. A subtle mix of graphic design and figurative painting have produced a remarkable artistic mélange. She relented her 16 years practice of competitive gymnastics to dedicate herself entirely to art.

A year long Australian trip gave Amélie the time needed to hone her skills and push her creations ever further. A sunlit greenland dreamland, the paintings offer a window into the artists desirs. Tropical landcapes quickly became a staple of her work.
Her wanderlust pushes her to explore possibilities, from panoramic wall papers to minute drawings. Exoticism is her red thread.

Womens place in society and racial issues are subjects of note within her painted works. A balance between man, woman and nature is realised. A notable artistic subtlety in a world where man is overbearing.
