The experiences that I lived during my childhood and adolescence, are the leading direction that my projects are based on. Impacts that I lived because of a change of cultures and surroundings that seemed extreme and far away from reality. These have led me to capture photographic images, series that tell stories, staged in a performative way, the female image that represents that ephemeral, mystical being in search of identity and truth, in a context of spaces in transition that serve as a scenario for the confrontation between the human being and the proposed topics.

Mexico and Berlin are two worlds that influenced my beliefs and cultural understanding. When I arrived in Mexico as a child, the Latino culture embraced me and although so many ideas and practices seemed absurd, with time, they became more and more familiar. The lack of identity, belief, security, and confidence that a child lives, tends to be fundamental for their future development.

Experiences such as the confrontation with religion, for instance, lead me to question contemporary societies, the way in which certain socio-political beliefs are practiced, their truth and reality, and the illusion that may be behind a concept.

We are in a new era, where the new generations are constantly living drastic changes, repositioning and redefining ideals that were valid at the time, but in specific cultural areas, have evolved, giving birth to new trends, beliefs with a different character, ideologies and modus vivendi.

Born in Berlin (1985) and raised in Mexico, she returned to Berlin to study MA in IBA. Shortly after finishing this degree she decides to give her professional life a meaningful turn when she finds her vocation in FineArt Photography. She developed her studies in IDEP, Barcelona. Later on, she combined this diploma with a MA in Contemporary Art Analysis and Management, writing her thesis about the market of contemporary FineArt Photography. Recently she finished the Master' degree offered by the international Photo Festival PhotoEspaña 2021.

Her works reflect personal experiences influenced by the dialogue and clash between her cultural roots. Her work portrays the confrontation between habits and customs – the societies that practice them and the time in which these are lived.

She has repeatedly been part of international Art Fairs, mainly in Spain and Germany such as Hybrid Art Fair & Festival and Berlin Art Week. Uliczka has exhibited her work in solo and collective exhibitions in Germany, Mexico, Spain, Great Britain, Hungary, and The Netherlands. Her most recent solo exhibition was in Querétaro, México, where El Centro Queretaro de la Imagen hosted her photo series The Divine Comedy as part of the Photo Festival ENFOQUE 2020.
She started, in collaboration with a very competitive team regarding the professional world of Photography, an academic training project, creating a Diploma degree for Emerging Photographers called “Posicionamiento de la Fotografía Emergente - Diplomado”.
Currently, she is part of the project Hofmann and PhotoEspaña 2021, in an urban group exhibition that shows the artworks in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Santander. Also as part of the same edition of the festival, she will exhibit her work as she is part of the Master's program. She finds herself based in Mexico, where she keeps working and developing new projects.
