Chikako Tone's very first canvas was tatami mat, and her very first crayon was her mother's lipstick. She used to love drawing to everything such as concrete using stones, papers using pencils, drawing paper with crayon and watercolor painting, canvas with oil painting and acrylic painting. Her motif is usually a woman, children, the landscape of the city that she lives in, cat, small animals, etc. She paints with brushes using a lot of different colors, scooping out things that are familiar to her or the scene.
