キャンバスに描かれた赤い空は危険な外界の象徴であり、同時に雲は不安な内的状態を体現している。私の絵は、内的な感情を再現するだけでなく、ロシア軍がウクライナの人々を容赦なく攻撃し、抑圧している現在進行中の大量虐殺に、見る者の注意を向けさせる。

このキャンバスは、目の前で繰り広げられている恐ろしい出来事と不正義に注意を払うよう、世界に呼びかけるものである。
