This piece is a hanamizuki that I photographed after receiving an order to display it in a beauty salon. This color of mizuki is very rare. About "Something behind it." I started photographing flowers on trees because of the beauty of dogwood trees in my garden after the rain. The flowers were taller than I was and I felt they were very divine. After several years of photographing the flowers in the trees, I began to feel the other side of them and to receive something from that other side. There is something that transcends the superficial beauty of the flowers. It is hidden within, indescribable, sacred, and essential. When we become aware of true beauty, the radiance of this inner essence is seen through the outer shell. Only when we are "present" do all things reveal their true nature. These works were taken in carefully selected weather conditions and light directions. This piece is a dogwood that I took an order to decorate a beauty salon. Dogwoods of this color are very rare.
