Concept

Ryo Koizumi was born in Fukushima, Japan in 1985, and has been working as a calligrapher since 2016. 19 years later, she began to develop her "enso" series, in which she draws basic lines of calligraphy in a continuous circular pattern, into a series of paintings. 21 years later, she began to work on the "Halo" (halo, halo circle) series. He began the "Halo" (halo, halo) series in 2009, incorporating the contingency of color and bringing the pure visual image of light in the air into existence on canvas as an abstract painting. In 2006, he was in charge of the title character for NHK's historical drama "Saigodon.
