I am a star.
80X100cm, oil, acrylic, gold leaf on canvas.
On an empty dance floor to a jazz recording, they swayed smoothly, like clouds of smoke.
- Why did you invite me? - she asked directly.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her slightly towards him.
- Because when your friend said: "How many stars are there!" - you’re the only one in this whole damn club who looked up at the sky. We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. Not a single star will shine until there is a person who will hold a black canvas behind.
I made this photo by Olympus PL-1 within my studio. The actual color of the painting may be slightly different from the colors on the monitor. The artwork is stretched on a supported wooden frame and will be sent in a box.
The original work is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
