    Description

Muladhara or Kundalini is the name of the first chakra. Its colour is bright red. This chakra is located below all, at the base of the spinal column. This chakra is translated from Sanskrit as "base", "root", "foundation", "support".

    Functions of the Muladhara Chakra
Through the first chakra, the energy of the Earth enters the human body and moves upward, passing through the other six chakras. The basic chakra - Muladhara, is associated with the main instincts and needs of a person: self-preservation, health, food, housing, physical existence, safety and reproduction of offspring. The main function of the Muladhara chakra is considered to be the preservation of life and the ability to survive in any condition.

Since the chakra is located below others, and for its functioning to be full, the state of health of the legs, the lower region of the spinal column, genitals, kidneys and adrenal glands is important.

The spiritual development of a person is an important aspect of the work of this chakra. The energy flowing through Muladhara moves upward. And, accordingly, the more spiritually developed a person is, the more energy he needs. A low level of spiritual development of a person leads to the fact that incoming in small amounts of energy is spent, for the most part, at a low level, affecting only the vibrations of a low plan - the vibration of self-preservation and survival.
