Concept

I´m interested in the connection between human beeings and their environment, especially mentally. The world we are living in is not only planet earth. Each and everyone of us is living in an unique world created by us, our parents, the environment, friends, experiences and so on. I always searched for a perfect symbol to visually show how i see human beeings and i found that symbol in a box. The box represents that unique and complex world we are living in. Therefore the box is key in my artwork. I´m not stick to a technique or style. I like to experiment. More important than the technique or style of my artwork is the box. I try to connect the box to the rest of the artwork because i want that connection. Everything is connected and so it is in my artwork.

Biography

I was born in Hagen, Germany in 1982.
After the regular school i became a trained design assistent. At that time i deepened my knowledge about painting-techniques, mixed media and grafic design. Some group and solo exhibitions took place in that period and i sold some of my pieces.

I was born in Hagen, Germany in 1982.
After the regular school i became a trained design assistent. At that time i deepened my knowledge about painting-techniques, mixed media and grafic design. Some group and solo exhibitions took place in that period and i sold some of my pieces.
After i gained some more experience in that field i decided to become a Master of art and craft and visited the Meisterschule Arnsberg. I am a Master of craft since 2007.
From 2004 till 2006 I was the Assistent of the known Artist Robert Kaller in Dortmund.
I opened my own Atelier in Hamburg in summer 2007 and work as a professional painter and artist since then.
In April 2020 i moved from Germany to Taiwan and continue working as an professional painter and artist.
My first solo-exhibition took place in December 2020/ January 2021 in Daxi, Taiwan.
