Concept

‘Divine Feminine Energy’ This was created during a period where I was enthralled by religious deities and I created two pieces ‘Divine Feminine and Masculine Energy’. I created this piece to embody the innate appeal every woman has and to celebrate that aura as it is sometimes discounted and looked over. Feminine energy is intuitive, emotional, desired and loving. Without a balance both the masculine and feminine the world seems a bit more overwhelming.

Biography

Lenisha Modeste is a fine artist from Trinidad and Tobago. Her preferred mediums are graphic and charcoal somewhat hyper-realistic drawings and oil paintings. Subjects being humans and animals; capturing both physical beauty and the essence of emotion our vessels carry, with a particular interest in the Afro descendant experience, femininity, religious deities and modern spirituality. A mix she refers to as ‘Whimsical Realism’.
