Concept

Nikolay Marinov has experience as a graduate and working sculptor for more than 15 years. He actively participates in group exhibitions and competitions and has participated in over 60 group exhibitions and competitions. Also, he participated in national and international symposia, where he had presented works in stone and wood. In addition to not а few diplomas for excellent performance, he has won awards for sculpture from national competitions. He believes that professional artist is a mission and his all life is devoted to the creation of forms. Although he was not born into an artistic family, his parents saw his interests and support him in his path. In his work, he uses mainly natural materials, such as stone, metal, wood. He experiments with different types and structures of materials and techniques, he studies their interaction and looks for the right expression and balance. He is inspired by nature, its perfection, completeness, and balance. In his works, he tries to achieve harmony between the constituent elements and to transmit the energy they have.
