My work is inspired by many different artists such has Klimt and Frida Kahlo. Starting life in my sketch book, then put on to canvas, evolving over months based on my thoughts and feelings I hope the viewer feels the emotion behind the woman’s gaze, feels the strength from within, the vulnerability that we keep to ourselves. Everyone of my paintings has a story behind it through my own life experience, I hope my paintings talk to the viewer.

Iam a professional artist, I trained in London at the Byam Shaw school of Fine Art I spent most of my time in the life room with a model studying the human form. This training enabled me to work from my imagination in figurative painting. I work in high quality oils on canvas, this gives my paintings a rich sense of colour.My recent work is based on my thoughts and feelings, sometimes dreams, which I put into my sketch book , I then let my sketches evolve on canvas over a period of months. Each painting has a personal story, but I like the viewer to find there own story and what the painting means to them personally.
