My influence comes from nature. My paintings are about how I see and experience color in nature. The three most important artists are: Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter, and Joan Mitchell. Music is a big influence as well. I play the bass guitar .

Biography

Tony Henson grew up outside of Nashville, TN.
He has been painting for 30 years and has created over 2,000 paintings.
Tony has been an art teacher for 20 years. He lives in Kingsport, TN with his family and has a private studio in his home.

His abstract paintings are about how he sees and experiences color in nature.
Tony Henson has sold his paintings for 20 years and has collectors all over the United States. Rock musician Dave Navarro, from the band Jane's Addiction, has a painting in his home in Los Angeles, CA.
