The Contemporary and Digital Art Fair (CADAF), an art fair specializing in digital and contemporary art, has announced that it will switch to an online format this year due to the effects of the new coronavirus. An emerging fair launched in 2019, CADAF is the only art fair with color dedicated to digital and contemporary art. Previously held in Miami and New York, this year's offline event was abandoned due to the effects of the new coronavirus, and will instead be held online from June 11-13, 2020, based in Paris. Digital art is clearly one of the art methods or mediums that have been pioneered with the growth of the Internet, and it is now gaining ground with the emergence of international awards such as the Lumen Prize. The low initial cost and the compatibility with the latest technologies such as blockchain are probably some of the advances. This time, the CADAF side has announced the participation of about 50 artists and 15 galleries, but the details have not been disclosed. The site will be a virtual white-cube-like booth, and admission will be free for visitors. Chief Executive Officer Elena Zavelev said, "The platform for digital art artists to present their work is not yet in place," but with the current situation, will the rise of this genre accelerate?
