女は地球上で最も複雑で不可解な生き物である。彼女が何を望んでいるのか、誰も知らないし、彼女自身も知らない。ですから、私の絵の中では主に女性が描かれています。私は常に困難に惹かれ、複雑な謎解きを好みますが、女性は無限に解くことができます。私は彼女たちに憧れ、平面上に表示する方法と芸術的手段を探している...
女は地球上で最も複雑で不可解な生き物である。彼女が何を望んでいるのか、誰も知らないし、彼女自身も知らない。ですから、私の絵の中では主に女性が描かれています。私は常に困難に惹かれ、複雑な謎解きを好みますが、女性は無限に解くことができます。私は彼女たちに憧れ、平面上に表示する方法と芸術的手段を探しているのです。私の作者の技法は、washed stoneと呼ばれるもので、荒々しい石の表面とその上の優しい女性像の組み合わせで、美しさと弱さを持つ女性がどんな力も手なずけることができ、また歴史の流れも変えることができるということを象徴しています。私は表現主義者の作品に触発され、私の作品はリアリズムから表現主義へとどんどん向かっているのです。
