エステルは、5歳の時に、同じくアーティストである母親と一緒に絵を描き始めました。ウーロンゴン大学在学中に、抽象表現主義のスタイルで抽象画を描き始めたため、ウーロンゴン・リージョナル・アート・ギャラリーで初の個展を開催しました。その後、さまざまなキャリアを重ねる中で、彼女は絵を描き続け、展示会にも参加しました。1991年には日本に5年間滞在し、ユネスコ国際友好展の一環として東京都美術館で展覧会を開催しました。また、「東京駅展」を始め、新宿、池袋、東京で作品を展示・販売しました。その後、ロサンゼルス、サンノゼ、ラホーヤでのグループ展にも参加しました。オーストラリアに戻ってからも、シドニー、メルボルン、ブリスベン、地方での個展に参加しています。いくつかの作品は、ニューヨーク、サンフランシスコ、ロンドンでも展示されました。通常、彼女の作品は大きなキャンバスで、催眠状態（起きている時と眠っている時の間の状態）からインスピレーションを得たものが多く、芸術的な象徴や元型に挑戦するようにデザインされた、型にはまらない形をしています。エステルはまた、「Transience」と題した最初のアートブックを出版しました。2冊目の本は制作中で、2021年6月の発売を予定しています。 dated
