Concetto

"Dichiarazione dell'artista" Vi piace perdervi di proposito? Mi piace molto. Preferisco sempre le strade locali all'autostrada, e di solito mi portano nei luoghi più interessanti. Di solito, i paesaggi che dipingo prendono vita grazie al fatto che mi sono letteralmente perso. Lì, all'estremità della mappa, in pace e solitudine, posso riflettere sul mondo circostante. E poi, tornato in studio, cerco il modo di trasferire le mie impressioni sulla tela. Il mio obiettivo principale è sempre quello di infondere nel dipinto le emozioni, le forme, i colori o, a volte, persino le immagini postume che quel luogo ha lasciato dentro di me. Quando creo, mi piace perdermi in vari modi, cercando e sperimentando nuovi mezzi, forme e tecniche. A volte, da quel caos momentaneo, emergono cose che si oppongono ai paesaggi tranquillizzanti che mi hanno ispirato. Appaiono demoni surreali che albergano nella maggior parte di noi, sotto la pelle o nel profondo. Vedo l'arte come una strada che mi porta da qualche parte. Questa strada è la mia meditazione e un modo per raggiungere la pace. Spero che non finisca mai, perché dovrebbe esserci sempre qualcosa di più da scoprire.
