His artworks are developed using various materials regardless of concrete or abstraction. The underlying theme is “time”. He considers the time when people live, the time that is called history, and the time that continues. He sometimes directly or originally expresses the various concepts of time that exist in the world. In 2019, he created a series using “gypsum”. Gypsum, believe to have been used since ancient Egypt in 7000 BC, is a mineral that has been generated in the underground before the era. This work expresses something that cannot be perceived, such as sound, light, and temperature that would have been absorbed in it.
