Color is an immense key player in the way we look at things. Even the clothes we wear on a given day, the hair we wear, and the food we cook all depend on color (there is even a psychological therapy called color therapy).
Fabien Flesse's work is truly art that makes effective use of color. His spray art, which depicts only beautiful gradations on a square canvas, can be perceived in different ways depending on the viewer's state of mind.

1.Aesthetics in the Wild," which has influenced me since his childhood

Fabian Freese was born in Wuppertal, Germany on September 8, 1982.
Fabian has been surrounded by nature since he was a child. The colorful creations of nature had a great impact on his aesthetic sense. For example, his paintings remind us of the sky. As an artist, he was blessed to be able to spend time in such an environment at an early age, when he had not yet developed a fixed sense of color, because there are so many vivid and rich colors in nature that cannot be captured in books or videos.

2.Career

From 2006 to 2011, Freese studied "Visual Art" at the Essen Free Art School. The term "visual art" refers mainly to artistic expression that can be perceived visually. Seeing and how things look are important to him, as he has been taking in the beauty of nature through sight since he was a child. During his studies, he was nominated for the Essener Forderpreis 2010 art prize.

3.Extremely simple spray art

When you think of spray art, you might think of street culture, like the pop patterns you see painted on walls all over town. However, his works do not give off the "naughty" feeling that is often associated with spray art. The compositions are so simple that they are easy to understand and soothing to anyone who sees them.

4.Expressing ideas with only shapes and colors

Freese does not paint any detailed motifs, but only works with a few color gradations. The titles of his works are simply words describing the colors used. This simple composition allows him to concentrate only on the colors, which is his goal. Like the beauty of the trees and rivers that influenced his childhood, he does not include anything superfluous. The aesthetic sense that comes from his stoicism is so thorough that it can now be called strength.

5.Beautiful harmony of light and color

There is one more idea that he has incorporated into his work. As you can see from
, the sides of the canvas are also painted with colors. White Square with Rainbow on the Edges" is a unique composition in which the information on the surface is reduced to the minimum and the emphasis is placed on the sides. Not only expressing colors with painting materials, but also incorporating the expression of colors by light, the entire work is used to express everything.

6.Fabien Freese's positive spirit to express "advanced art" by combining various elements of contemporary art

In addition to color, Fabien Freese is also passionate about light, and there are many photographs of night scenes using long exposures. He does not create his works as photographs, but rather by painting vertical stripes of multiple colors on top of them, which gives his works an abstract uniqueness. He has a positive spirit that he wants to create new art by combining different elements of contemporary art without being bound by traditional ideas, and we look forward to the progressive art he will create in the future.
