Mariko expresses the color of memories that she's seen and felt in her life. She hopes that she can mix her memories and the colors of multiple things such as mountains, sky, cities, plants, besides, she would like to reach the power that each color has. Mariko usually uses oil paintings for canvas and acrylic paints and collages for paper. She layers the colors over and over again until it turns into the color that she desires to be. She hopes that her work can reach and connects everyone.
