Kayoko’s main style is copperplate engraving. Words, scenery, events that she sees and hear in her daily life becomes a story. She captures the story and expresses them as an art by using prints, drawings, and mixed media. She is pursuing research of expression by combining different materials such as watercolor paintning on copperplate prints, silkscreen, Japanese paper, glass beads, and so on. Recently, she has also worked on pen paintings with watercolor coloring and pen drawings and copperplate drawings with illustration touch as well to expand her variety of works.
