Kerry主要根据照片和电影剧照进行创作，她对观察女性形象和这些形象所代表的社会影响特别感兴趣。她以前曾经历过18年的家庭虐待婚姻，所以她现在的兴趣主要是在平等、性别歧视和横向隔离方面。 她的绘画方式也反映了这种兴趣，因为她完全在水平面上作画。

凯里用她的艺术来激发自由、治愈和恢复。
