This is a sculpture of demon created with using mirror. This demon is the hidden side of us human, which is expressing the madness. The tip of mirror popping out of the mask looks like a horn which turn out to be the inspiration to create mirror demon. Eriko Iwadate used broken mirrors to express the feeling of madness. If you look closely on this work, you'll be able to see your own face as well, this means that it will give a different impression depending on where to hang this, and also with time as well. This is created with using lightweight clay as a base on top of the cardboard and putting pieces of mirror on top. This is recommended to hang on the wall securly attached to prevent from falling. The 'horn' is coated but because this is using broken mirror, there is no excessive processing on the cutting surface so please handle with care.
