    Description

"A Meaningful Walk" is a painting that talks about the journey of human life. Philosophizing on a spiritual quest through dangers and uncertainties until reaching eternal life, the power of symbols accompanies us on a journey that can be rich, the richer its purpose. Between wanting, having, and achieving, is being. In the beginning, the nest, symbolizing the maternal womb, generator of life. Next, "David" by the Renaissance master Michelangelo, thus representing courage in the face of the battle ahead, looking fearless and glimpsing the immense mountain and its dangers. The bridge leading to the other side symbolizes faith, which helps us believe in a world with a better tomorrow. Immediately after, and in a moment before the climb, we have the first piece of warning information that really puts us to the test, the image of Sisyphus by Titian, as a warning that we may have to carry the stone back to the top of the mountain if we don't value and be grateful for what makes us good. Further on a message of encouragement brought by the Lotus flower plant that can emerge from the bottom of the darkest swamps in search of light, in a clear allusion to spirituality. The Buddha of Tian tan, who sits on the Lotus flower is higher still, purer, it is acceptance and understanding. Finally, the goal, but the effort of the climb was immense, and the vision no longer works, you can only read by closing your eyes, and voila "L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux" here is the key to the prize, the holy grail, eternal life.
But if you, do it all with an ambition to conquer, it will be worth nothing, you will come back to carry the stone up the mountain again. To try to lead a full and meaningful life, the forces of the universe, whatever they may be, will remember your effort and dedication and in the end will reward you if you do not flinch from the pain and suffering that is the human experience. So it was in the end, with Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid perhaps it will be with us too.

It will ship in 7 days in a wooden crate, ready to hang with hooks on the back, also signed on the back and with certificate of authenticity included. Framing by request.

  • About this artist

    Concept

"I want to be able to recreate not what I see, but what I feel, because the essential is invisible to the eyes."

I am an artist who cultivates and expresses my passion for painting through my natural curiosity and heightened intuition. My artistic approach is characterized by emotional sensitivity and a strong instinctive drive. I strive for subjectivity in my work, avoiding objective assessments, and I use a language that is diverse and rich in values. The final results of my artwork are the result of studio work, but they are mainly shaped by my experiences, which linger not only in my memory, but also on a sensory level. These experiences are sublime and come unexpectedly, purging my subconscious processes. I have the courage to allow what emerges and transforms to be the object of artistic creation, and this flow is my artistic secret.
I usually create from within, from what comes from within, and I have discovered that abstract expressionism is the deepest and most authentic way of expressing myself. As abstract art is an activity that is often carried out in solitude, it is natural that the themes and approaches that inspire the artist are very personal. This creates a close relationship between the art and the essence of the artist, at least in my experience. Objective evaluations are excluded from this statement, nothing is ever just what it seems. However, my creative range goes from surrealism to symbolism or from Neo-expressionism to simple landscapes. This is not due to a lack of commitment to my art, to not remaining in a single style, but rather reflects my conviction that artistic expression should be a reflection of the artist's personality and soul. I've always been attracted to free movements, forms and interpretations and that sums me up: I'm a free man of my time.
As already mentioned, I internalize my experiences, emotions and environment to give authenticity to my creations and this process may seem egocentric, but it is an intimate and intuitive act that comes close to the primordial. Although I don't always feel this impulse, I'm getting better at interpreting this inner vocation of mine, this call that comes unexpectedly.
I adhere to the maxim: "I want to recreate not what I see, but what I feel", recognizing the invisible essence of things. My inspiration comes from books, films, the media, personal encounters, life experiences, introspection and nature. Metaphysics piques my interest. I absorb emotions, experiences and my surroundings to animate my creations, which serve as raw material.

So it's simple and intuitive. I just have to be aware of my surroundings, my personal state and, above all, have a bit of courage.
