Aiko Wakamatsu

I paint abstract works mainly in watercolors. My main theme is to draw works that can become "power to live" and to empathize with various life. I liked modern art since I was a teenager, and when I first encountered it, I thought, "My world is exactly this!" I especially like Klee, Kandinsky and Vols and studied their work. The features of watercolors are "smearing" and "blur", which is the greatest attraction that other paints cannot provide. Also, it is possible to create a solid screen that is comparable to oil paintings, there are techniques and methods that have not yet been developed with watercolor, and my mission is to develop it and explore all the possibilities of watercolor I feel
