    Description

    "This deer hunting trophy has been created using a multi-faceted photo engraving technique.
    It is designed with a colorful floral pattern on the surface.
    The entire piece was modeled for realism, and the antlers in particular were quite complex, so I used every paper crafting technique possible to create it.
    The total length of the figure is 45cm, making it one of the largest paper crafts I have made.
    This is a new design of the same title work I made in the past. I increased the number of flowers and colors to create a more colorful and bright image.

    A clear panel is attached on top of a wooden panel.
    A hook is attached to the back of the panel for hanging a string, and the year of production and the artist's signature are written on it.
    The panel is made of wood and finished with matte white paint (acrylic paint).
    The body part is made of glossy photo paper. "

    Yojiro started creating in addition to producing mixed-media sculptures that he had worked on until then, he began producing work using papercraft techniques. Since then, his papercraft work is highly evaluated by contemporary artists Katsuhiko Hibino and Milan Fukuda. Now he has been engaged in a wide range of activities with a view to new possibilities of papercraft art including collaborating with companies.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    Are there other sizes for a similar type of artwork?

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
