Mirrors have originally been used to design space other than just looking at yourself. Ryota Igarashi combined the feature of mirror which makes it look like a hollow space with a vase and created this series, 'Half of the vase'. Flowers also appear to be doubled because of the mirror, so even if there isn't a lot of flowers is the vase, it makes it more gorgeous. In addition, the floating look made by mirror is one of the feature of this work. [Squar] is square-shaped shape which gives a sharp impression.
