Reo Kikuchi mainly uses Japanese art materials to create artworks. Moreover, He has been attracted by patchwork and collages such as splicing clothes, bags, and sashiko from a long time ago. Reo Kikuchi is inspired by those patchworks and collages but not directly draw them out. He mixes natural pigments, the gloss of metal foil, paper, and other different materials to bloom flowers on his artworks. Also, he uses his own unique technique which is different from traditional Japanese painting.
